의류학과

연세대학교 박사학위를 받았다. 박사 후 파리의 복식 조합학교에서 입체재단 특별과정을 이수하고 이후 1994년 부터 가톨릭대학교에 근무하였다.
가톨릭대학교에서  기초패션디자인, 패션컬러리스트입문, 패션스튜디오, 미디어와 패션아이콘, 감성커뮤니케이션 시대의 색채과학 등을 강의하였다. 
디자인 교육및 복식문화에 대한  다수의 논문을 발표하였으며, 3번에 걸친  아트웨어 개인전 개최하였고, 다수의 단체전에 참여하였다.  특히 천연염색에는 조예가 깊어 수차례 KBS, MBC등 국영 방송에서  다루어졌다.
2012년에는 과학기술단체 총연합회에서 수여하는 우수 논문 상을 수여받았다.
가장 최근 논문은 현대미술에서 오브제로 사용된 신발의 상징적의미가 있다.

I presented my Ph.D. at Yonsei University. Afterwards, I completed a special course in the stereoscopic foundation at the Paris School of  Chambre Syndical. I have worked at the Catholic University since 1994.
I teaches basic fashion design, entry to fashion colorists, media and fashion icons, and color science in the era of emotional communication. He served as the head of the Catholic University's Lifelong Education Center and the library.
In the field of research, a number of papers on design education and costume culture have been published. In 2012, the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies awarded the excellent thesis award. Three individual fashion design exhibitions were held.
The main thesis is "Symbolic Meaning of Shoes Used as Objects in Modern Art."
